Overall condition of course and greens are very good. The course plays longer than it reads do to the fact that most greens are slightly elevated and not much roll on the fairways. Staff is friendly and professional.

Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again

Dos Lagos From the 15 it looks hilly but it really isnt. There are two hilly holes on the back 9 but overall it is a shot makers paradise. If you are a decent index you will be able to pad the index with this course. Not a super long course, some reachable par 5's for the big hitters. The greens are always receptive and easy to putt. Some of the holes require some course knowledge but overall not a bad place to play. I like it when they have the hot specials on some of the golf websites so you only pay 25 or 30 bucks to play. It would be nice if they had a range but there is no room for one.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

I have played Dos Lagos several times, beginning in opening week. They let the course brown out after a couple of years, but now it is back to good shape. No practice facility; only one net.

Great course at a fantastic price for seniors. If you have not played The DOS in a year or two it is now time to give it a second look. The course is in very good playing condition and lyou need to be stright for a good score.

From the back tees this is one tough track. Visually intimidating and you need to be in the fairway. Greens tough but fair. Long course, especially if you play early with dew on the grass. Course management is a must if you want to score well on this course. Also helps to play with someone who knows the layout. Plays harder than the slope rating.

I have played this course in the past but not for the past 2 years. They now have a clubhouse and pro shop. The hotdog deal is unbelievable. I could only eat 1/2 of it. As for the course, it was in excellent shape. I love the par 5 14th hole which is 579 yards and uphill from the white tees. It probably actually plays well over 650 yards with the big uphill dogleg. The greens were in very good shape and rolled very true. The only complaint is we landed behind a beer companies annual outing and the player all sucked big time but with all the free beer they drank, they were having a great time. At least 2 of their groups let our twosome play through. Even with the slow play we finished in under 4 41/2 hours. We will be using Dos Lagos in Nov. for my monthly groups tournament.

The only cons about this place are - the clubhouse - there is none to the pace of play. When will novices realize it is in their best interst to let people playing fastrer than them to let them play thru?? Pro shop had a lot of great deals like 09-10 shoes at 75% off.

I play here a couple of times a month. Staff is always pleasant. Course offers a challenge for any level golfer. A couple of forgiving holes, but generally you can't spray your shots. I go out of my way to golf here. Best hot dog deal of any course I've played. Any! When the long ball hitters start crying "unfair" I start smiling! We're usually done in under four. Could be less, marshall doesn't push slow groups much.

Strong layout with challenging holes. Six par threes and four par fives make up the par 70. Food options are too limited. Waiting behind six golfers to check in (at noon), only to be told they had no sandwiches, is dumb! The group ahead was told that sandwiches were on the way and would be delivered to them. Three holes later someone brought out Snickers bars. Lesson learned: bring your own lunch
